What I Ate: Hawaiian Style

I'm seriously coming off of five days of sun, fun, and amazing food.  While I tried to stay aware of my eating in Hawaii, I definitely indulged in some local treats.  Everything was so fresh and so good.  As I'm trying to come back to reality today, I figured What I Ate Wednesday with Peas and Crayons was the perfect way for me to reminisce on some of the fine meals I've had the last few days.  It's What I Ate: Hawaiian Style.

From left to right, top to bottom: Caprese from Kauai Pasta, Peanut butter chocolate ice cream from Lappert's Hawaii, Pineapple teriyaki burger with onion rings and fries from Bubba's burgers, Pineapple smoothie drink (alcoholic of course) from Keoki's, Fresh cut pineapple from a local fruit stand, Cevice from Keoki's, Kalua pork spring rolls from Keoki's, Hula pie from Keoki's, and Fish tacos from a local taco stand

From left to right, top to bottom: Hawaiian shaved ice from a beach-side stand, Roasted red pepper, macadamia nut, and edemame hummus with grilled pita from Keoki's, Appetizer boat from Roy's, Pina fresh blended drink (again, alcoholic) from Roy's, Fish tostada from a local food truck, Fresh crusted mozzarella from Kauai Pasta

Overall, we had an amazing trip to Kauai.  The views were breathtaking, the wedding was beautiful, and there's just this air of peacefulness and relaxation everywhere you go.  More pics of the trip will be up shortly - I can't wait to go back someday soon.  I'm linking up with Peas and Crayons for What I Ate Wednesday, you should too!

It was seriously amazing, I don't think I had one bad thing the entire time I was there! We definitely need to go back!
